Wednesday, January 9, 2008 Units of Measure

Wilcom bases its units of measure on the option selected in the Windows Control Panel. To change the units of measure currently displayed by Wilcom, this would be accomplished from within Windows Control Panel and not from within the Wilcom program.

When Windows is set for U.S. measurements Wilcom will display the following settings.

U.S.

  • Lettering height
  • Grid
  • Ruler
  • Measure tool

Metric

  • Density
  • Stitch length
  • Pull compensation
  • Column width
  • And others

When Windows is set for Metric measurements, all measurements within Wilcom are displayed in Metric.
