Saturday, February 2, 2008 Power Zooming

Being able to quickly move around the work area will reduce the labor required to create a design. Two very useful view functions are Zoom Box and Previous View.

Zoom Box

  • Press the “B” key just once to place Wilcom in Zoom Box mode
  • Using the mouse, Click and drag a marquee box around the area you wish to zoom in to
  • Once the box surrounds the area you wish to display, release the mouse button
  • Wilcom will then zoom into the box area.

Previous View

  • Press the “V” key once to return to the previous view before you zoomed in.

You will notice the “B” and “V” keys are located next to one another. This makes it easy to zoom in and then return to the previous view. The two keys are used together frequently and once you begin to use them in sequence, the process of zooming in and back out will become second nature.
