Reading "Dear John"The moon is peeking back at us.
I spent the first half of the day wrapping up loose ends. It's always amazing how when I arrive on a job site I feel I have an entire week, and on the last day I feel pressure to squeeze in so many tasks.
My outbriefing with Kenny went well. Kenny is very interested in continuing the improvement of his embroidery division and would like me to return as soon as I can work it into my schedule. This is good news because I know I can make a difference at CC Creations and that is needed is the owners support. He made it clear I have his complete support.
CC Creations is conducting a tent sale at Texas A&M campus. I expressed that I wanted to stop byt the tent sale on the way to the airport so i could pick up some Aggie wear for my children. I was shocked to learn CC Creations picked up the tab for this. It's so nice when consulting projects turn into such warm connections.
Although American Airlines has been cancelling 800-1000 flights a day due to safety issues with their MD80s, my flights home remained on time. During my stop over in Dallas my friend Sue met me for the little time I had between flights. I was impressed someone would go through so much to see me, but I know that's what makes life enjoyable. Friends that count.
